Terms & Conditions

1. Website Use

By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the website. The website owner reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue products, services, or content at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Artwork and Products

This website offers original artworks, limited edition prints, and other art-related products created by the artist. Each artwork is described and photographed as accurately as possible; however, colours may vary slightly depending on screen displays and device settings.

Original artworks are unique handmade pieces and may contain natural variations inherent in artistic processes.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the secure payment methods provided at checkout.

The artist reserves the right to adjust pricing, update listings, or withdraw artworks from sale at any time.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Artwork will be carefully packaged to ensure safe transport. Dispatch times will be stated at the time of purchase.

Delivery times may vary depending on the buyer’s location and postal services used. The artist cannot guarantee delivery dates and is not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond their control.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of original and handmade artwork, returns are limited and handled in accordance with UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Commissioned and Personalised Artwork

Commissioned artworks, including portrait commissions or artworks created to a client’s specific request, are considered custom or personalised goods.

Once work has begun, commissioned pieces are non-refundable and cannot be returned, as they are created specifically for the client. Deposits paid for commissioned work are non-refundable once the commission process has started.

Non-Commissioned Artwork

For artworks that are not commissioned or personalised, customers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, as required by UK consumer law.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The artist must be notified within 14 days of delivery

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging

  • The buyer is responsible for return postage costs and safe packaging

Refunds will be issued once the artwork has been returned and inspected.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If artwork arrives damaged or significantly different from its description, customers must contact the artist within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence.

Where appropriate, the artist will offer a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with UK consumer rights.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All artwork, images, text, and content displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of the artist and are protected under UK copyright law.

The purchase of an artwork does not transfer copyright ownership. Buyers may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use the artwork without prior written permission from the artist.

7. Commissions

For commissioned artworks, the artist may require a deposit before work begins. The artist retains the right to display commissioned works in portfolios, exhibitions, websites, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.

8. Authenticity

Original artworks may be supplied with a certificate of authenticity where applicable.

9. Limitation of Website Access

The website owner reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to users who misuse the website or breach these Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
